Special Day!

Tail wags, dear readers! It's me, Stormy! Oh, do we have a fun day planned here at Ao4 HQs today! Some of you guessed what all our whispering was about yesterday - today is Ammy's birthday! That's right - my girl puppy is 11 today!!! Can you believe it? It seems like only yesterday that Mom and Dad brought her home to me so I could give birth to her.

While our meteorologist is out making her big prognostication for the day, let me share one of her baby pix with you. I think those of you who haven't seen this will understand why we call her our little Sweet Potato after you see this one:

Doesn't she look like the sweetest little bag of sweet potatoes? Ha roo! That's the very first picture Mom took of her.

Anyway, the boys and I have all kinds of fun things planned for her today - long walks, joke-telling sessions, naps, zoomies, snacks - all of her favorite things!

You also know, no doubt, that today is Groundhog Day. No coincidence that our meteorologist was born on this day! Punxsutawney Phil has already seen his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Let's see if Ammy confirms....
