2012 Mercedes B-Class Specs,Features and Price Details

The 2012 Mercedes B-Class is a 4-door hatchback that launched in 2005 and was refreshed in early 2008. Also sold in Canada, it's a sort of elegant take on tall, family-friendly wagons like the Mazda 5 and KiaRondo, as well as a baby brother to M-B's big R-Class "sports tourer." Trade weekly Automotive News expects the new version to reach North America in calendar 2011, probably as a 2012 entry.

Mercedes had planned on a B-Class for the U.S. back in 2006, and the car was designed for federal safety and emissions standards with that in mind. When the dollar began to weaken against the euro, M-B's U.S. team pulled the plug, concluding that worsening exchange rates would price the B-Class out of its intended market to the detriment of sales and profits. Things are different now, and rabid demand for the Toyota Prius hybrid, BMW's Mini Cooper, and similar small cars shows that Americans can be persuaded to buy fairly pricey fuel-sippers, hence Mercedes' change of heart.

2012 Mercedes B-Class Price

The excepted price of 2012 Mercedes B-Class is Rs. 26,00,000.That price for the Mumbai market. The price may vary as for the transportation and taxes for other states in India.

Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept With BCI System

The Mercedes Benz Cyborg Sensation Vehicle, or C.S.V., is a concept car imagined by Chinese designer Derek Chik Kin Ng. The C.S.V. is an off-road capable, two-seater supercar, Inspired by the Mercedes F400 concept, designed back in 2001, is targeted to young adventurous professionals in 2040.
Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept
Its pretty obvious, (thanks Captain Oblivious) what the core concept of this vehicle is just by name. Technology and organics are bound to merge sooner or later. Imagine driving just by thinking. When you sit in the drivers seat, your though patterns are sent to the vehicle, thus becoming an extension of your body. Theres no need for analog controls.
Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept
Mercedes F400 concept has served as the inspiration when creating this concept car of the future. It foreshadows a fully integrated driver interface, providing “driving…by thinking”.
Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept
The interesting part about this Mercedes Benz concept is that it has no steering wheel, no pedals, but this vehicle can be controlled with the power of mind instead. It uses a system named Brain Computer Interface (BCI), which creates a connection between the car and its driver, through a specially-designed helmet.
Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept
This way, the driver’s brain impulses are gathered by the helmet and transferred to the car, which responds appropriately. Although this principle may sound plausible in the future, its implementation on cars, could prove to be quite a difficult task.
Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept
The implications for such technologies means someday well know how to interpret, map out, and respond to human neural patterns. If you can put that thought aside for a second, lets focus on the design.
Mercedes Supercar C.S.V Concept
Theres a lot of F400 in there but the designer wanted to give the vehicle an organic flavor, hence the muscle fibers flanking each side, neatly tucking into a hidden skeletal system. The result is a design that takes Mercedes Benz DNA and evolves it into an organic object mimicking its pilot.

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz Concept Car Production year theoretical 2025

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car Production year theoretical 2025. Brilliant and outstanding is what every car lover will exclaim when will see this BlitzenBenz concept car. The Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept was created by George Yoo, a designer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development in Carlsbad, California. The BlitzenBenz was developed during his final year at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

Created by George Yoo as a futuristic racing vehicle, BlitzenBenz concept is derived from two different sources. And let me tell you the roots of its design are in the past. The main inspiration behind the idea is from original Blitzen-Benz from 1909 that had a long tubular shape and rear cab positioning. On the other, Alex Erlandson work of creating sculptures from trees that were grown into certain shapes/patterns influenced Yoo considerably to contemplate what if automotive parts were to be grown and tamed to hold certain shapes.
Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

Obviously the technology is not quite there yet to create such a vehicle, but the current research into nanotechnology is paving the way for intelligent and adaptable components which can be grown instead of manufactured. It's an incredibly interesting prospect which would completely alter the way cars are built, maintained, upgraded and recycled.
Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

The exterior design is a base for the organic structure and the individual wheel pods are there to sense as to when the inside electric motors need to be cooled down. When the cooling will be required, these structures will open up in the same way as the plants do to receive the vital sunlight.
Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

To run this Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz, there is an advanced next-generation Hygenius hybrid hydrogen engine and four in-wheel electric motors. The inspiration for the blue lightening system came from bioluminescent capabilities of deep sea creatures. Also, a hydrogen storage tank is just below the cockpit and the fuel level is shown in a small window.
Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

Though, woefully, there is no technology to make this vehicle as such, but the progressing research into nanotechnology will surely open the way for components that can be grown than manufactured, changing the way cars will be built or maintained in future.

“With the new SLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz is presenting a fascinating super sports car that will quicken the pulse of any car fan. McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream
