Boys Day Out! (with Mom)

Woo, everypup and everycat! It's me - Dave! Before I get started, a word about Am's Wordless Wednesday post - that photo was actually from last week. We don't have any more snow. Oddly enough, that seems to please Mom. Temps in the 50s seem to please her even more. I'm starting to think she isn't Siberian. Whatever the case - to "celebrate" the rising temperatures, me and Zimmie took Mom for a nice, long walk the other day! Look at where we ended up!

Look, Zim! The Kansas Ocean!

I thought Ammy said there was still some snow here...

We didn't see any patches of snow like Ammy did, but we sure had a good time. Zim spotted some ducks swimming way over near the distant shore. He tried to lure them over to him like he does with every other animal he sees, but they didn't respond. I told him it's because they couldn't see him. I mean - look at how well camouflaged he is:

Where's Zim? Ha woo.

See what I mean? He's got great camo, doesn't he? I told him he should move over to the sidewalk boardwalk and maybe they would be able to see him better.

Hey, ducks! Can you see me now?

They still didn't come over, so we moved on to other, more important things:

It was a great day at the Kansas Ocean! Hopefully, we'll get to go back again soon!
