Snow Moon and Cat-O-Lympics

Ha roo, pups and cool cats! It's me - Zim! Before I get started with the main part of today's post, Ammy said there was a great astronomical event last night called the Snow Moon. She explained that's what they call February's full moon. Mom kept going out, trying to get photos of it, but there was too much cloud cover to get a good look at it. Or as Ammy said (wait for it!), "There's snow moon for us tonight, it's too cloudy!" Ha roo roo roo! Get it? Maybe it's funnier when she says it out loud. Try it like that. Anyway, fortunately, Ammy told Mom to go out night before last for some photos, just in case. Here is the night before the Snow Moon:

OK. So... as many of you know, there was a big event taking place recently - The Cat-O-Lympics! It was a great event and WOW, were the events incredible! The competitors were awesome - each and every one of them! I entered the Competitive Napping event, as that seemed right up my alley. (You can see my entry here.) Huffle, our host for the event, did an outstanding job - and she had an amazing number of entries! Please stop by her blog and check them out, if you haven't already!

It was an honor to even compete; I was blown away by some of the creative sleeping poses, choice of nap locations, and cute, cute, CUTE looks my fellow competitors came up with. And so... imagine how awestruck I was when I found out I had won the Bronze medal! And in the "sleeping where you aren't supposed to"/"naughty" division!!! WOWZERS!!!!!

I took home the Bronze in the "naughty" category!

I am so humbled! Many thanks to Huffs, and concatulations to all the participants. All of you were totally awesome!

How best to celebrate? Olympic runners usually do a victory lap, so I think it's fitting that I take a nap! (HEY! Marvin! I made a poem! Cool, huh?) And where better than on that ever-so-comfy (yet still allegedly forbidden) sitzbank?!!?
