Our mom brought the box in and I was VERY interested in checking it out! Here I am:
Wow, there's something in here for everyone!
Seriously - a cool toy for us (it's MINE!), yummy snacks - and stuff for Mom and Dad!
Dave was quite interested in checking out the card Mochi had tucked inside; here he is:
You can see Zim and Ammy in the background!
Let's give him some time to dream about her, shall we? If you'd like to see everything Mochi sent just for us, click here!
Isn't she beautiful!?!?

Meanwhile, look at what Mochi's mom sent our mom and dad!!!
Mochi's mom knows that our mom and dad like to eat sushi and she thought it would be fun if Mom tried her hand at making her own! How thoughtful is that!?!? Mom is going to give it a go tomorrow night, in fact! I'll try to take pictures so you can see how she does! (Mom said she has made kimbap before, which is similar - but had lots of help from Korean friends; she's hoping the technique will come back to her!)
That reminds me - did you like Zim's pix from yesterday? He loves green peas - and rice. Mom had left-overs of both and made little "sushi rolls" for him out of just those two ingredients. Dad has dubbed them "Kansas Rolls". Ha roo roo roo! Good one!
Anyway... where were we? Oh, yeah. Right about here...
The banana-pumpkin ones looked especially good.
How about it, Mom?
That's right. Zim and I pulled the ol'Double Harp Seal Look on her. How could she refuse? Let me allow this picture of Ammy...
Me and Ammy
...and this one of Dave do the talking!
And in case you're wondering, YES, they are that good!
Thank you, Mochi! And thank you, Mochi's mom! You are such thoughtful friends and we just treasure your friendship! We hope to show you some pix of Mom's own California Rolls and Veggie Combo Rolls over the weekend!
Tail wags,
Storms
