So anyway, we were doing the whole photo shoot with the bears thing when we got this really sweet award from that gorgeous babe Brownie.
Thanks, Brownie!
Brownie said the rules are:
- put the award on your blog
- shout out to the Purple Hatter, award-maker!- share a photo of how you've shared sum luvins
- give the award to 5 more bloggie buddies
That third rule fit so well with what we were doing, that I'm dedicating these pix to the "Showing Some Love Award". I just adore the bears and developed a nice bond with one of them. It was quite the ... serene photo shoot for me. (Not so much for the girls. Ha roo roo roo!)
After Mom shot the snuggly scenes you saw yesterday, I asked if I could spend a little more time with one of the bears. I put the big bear on our cool blue camo quilt, 'cuz that's a real comfy spot.
"Can we have a little privacy here?"
Mom said she was more than willing to trust us together, but that I might want to find a safer place for Big Bear to hang out.
I decided to take him into the living room so he could watch TV and I could watch him.
I made sure he was settled in and comfy. He doesn't get out much, so I wanted to make sure he had everything he needed. You know - the whole serene thing.
He seemed good to go, so we both settled in for some quality one-on-one time.
He's really great to hang out with. We both felt very peaceful and enjoyed that "comfortable silence" between old friends.
Trust me when I say...
...not only did I have a serene moment, but Mom said seeing me and the big bear together painted a very serene scene for her.
Play bows,
Zim
PS: We'd like to pass the "Showing Some Love Award" along to my bestest friend, Huffle Mawson; the Basset Babes, Martha and Bailey; Max Dog and his family in South Africa; Isabella, Sadie and Angel over at the Beaded Tail; and those gorgeous babes Sitka (my main squeeze!), Tia, and Cornelia Marie!
